Mr. Kemp
is currently an Emergency Care Provider and the American Heart
Association (AHA) Training Coordinator for Sony Pictures Entertainment,
including being the lead instructor for CPR/AED, First Aid and
emergency disaster response training for all employees and floor
wardens. He also coordinates all special events medically for
clientele that have included the annual Vibe Awards, MTV Awards
and those involving visiting dignitaries, foreign heads of state,
and the President of the United States.
Mr. Kemp
is a former police-dispatched civilian rescue ambulance driver,
attendant and supervisor for a subcontracted private ambulance
service that serviced the City Of Burbank, the Los Angeles County
Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol in the
early-to-mid 1970s under what was then known as an Emergency
Aid Program or EAP.
Mr. Kemp
has over 33 years experience in emergency services as an Emergency
Medical Technician, has an Associate Degree in the Administration
Of Justice, and is a member of the Culver City Community Emergency
Response Team (CERT) in cooperation with Sony Pictures Studios
and the Culver City Fire Department. Previous employment includes
23 years as the Medical Supervisor of The Warner Hollywood Studios
within the motion picture and television industry in West Hollywood,
California (formerly The Samuel Goldwyn Studios) where many
major motion pictures and hit television series were filmed.
