BICEPP is hosting Virtual Tabletop Exercise (VTTX) sponsored by the Emergency Management Institute (EMI). It is being provided at no charge. This VTTX will focus on a simulate an attack taking place using a vehicle as the weapon and can be used to assess plans, policies, training, and procedures. The VTTX involves key personnel discussing simulated scenarios in an informal setting, and can be used to assess plans, policies, training, and procedures. Lead facilitation for the exercise will be coordinated by EMI, with local facilitation provided by the participating agency.
Exercise Goals:
This virtual exercise will enable the participants to apply the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to effectively respond to emergency management incidents of varying complexity, Overall objectives include:
- Assist in the preparation and review of local procedures.
- Enable participants to better coordinate operations with counterparts from local
governments, other State governments, Federal agencies, tribal, private sector organizations,
non-governmental agencies and medical facilities.
- Provide a virtual, experiential education environment to exercise and enhance critical
response and thought.
- Allow participating organizations to share real-time incident related preparation, response,
recovery concerns, and potential solutions with all participants This event is provided at no charge
