Description:
As part of BICEPP’s Virtual Tabletop Exercise (VTTX) series, we will be facilitating a building collapse scenario VTTX, focusing on an organization’s role in responding to the potential consequences of a building collapse to your business and neighborhood. Experienced experts will be discussing simulated scenarios in this informal setting. This scenario can be used to assess plans, policies, training, and procedures.
Exercise Goals:
This virtual exercise will help participants apply the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to effectively respond to emergency management incidents of varying complexities.
Overall objectives include:
- Improving resiliency of organizations to natural and manmade disasters.
- Increasing participants’ knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively conduct all-hazards emergency response.
- Allowing attendees to share preparation, response, and recovery solutions with all participants.
- Enabling participants to better coordinate response operations with counterparts from federal agencies, state & local governments, private sector organizations, and nongovernmental agencies.
